Site Update!

Well, I hope you noticed the new look of the site… I have battled for the last few YEARS on what it should look like and I think we have a winner.

Yeah, it’s a bit tacky, a bit throw back and a bit klunky for a ‘modern’ website, but ASB is the awesome spirit of all of those things so we are going to embrace it!

I will be adding a TON of free player discs over the next week, so check that out.

About Joe

I have been playing Cadaco All Star Baseball since before I knew what numbers were! ... After creating hundreds of discs, several original designs for stadiums and helping to brainstorm goofy additions to the game, I would LOVE to hear what YOU are doing with the game. My hope is to build a long lasting web community with a growing set of cool online ASB features!

I ran across this website by accident. I got my first game for Christmas in the 50″s. My brother and I both got games. Kept them for a long time and then they were tossed in a house cleaning. I purchased a game in the 60’s and still have it. You could order disc sets from Cadaco in those days- even from the older sets. I have most of those and lot of new ones. I hooked up with some disc makers in the early 70’s and also designed and made my own using a think manila cardboard stock and different colored thin line pens. I also tweaked the game using the existing numbers to make the game more interesting and realistic. I did it by compiling stats for pitchers and then increasing the potential for strikeouts, for example, by adding additional numbers. I mean at the end of the season Bert Blyleven should have more strikeouts than Kent Tekulve – because he had a lot more. Anyway, I still play now and then. It is a great game and Ethan Allen was a good player in his own right.
