Bamford Sweeps Round Robin
McCall – The Bamford Bears took care of business in the round robin portion of the I-70 Baseball classic last night going undefeated in their three games and locking in the first seed in the first round of the playoffs to be held next week. The Bears will take on the McCall Mudhens who went winless for the evening and will also hold home field advantage throughout the tourney.
The Merrimack Owls and their two wins place them in the 2 seed and will match up against the Westport Fleas who earned the three seed. “That’s a real tough draw for a first round opponent. They played real good tonight and I am sure that Buck (O’Neill) will have them playing even better with an extra week of practice,” Owls manager Ed Bailey said during the post game interviews.
Each playoff series will be a best of three games and the winners will advance to the Championship round and play another best of three set to determine who gets the banner.

Hell of a night of games! Round one of the playoffs is going to be a BITCH!!!
I have to admit that watching the Bears roll through the competition was like watching the Beanbags roll over the Jenks Wildcats in ASB Classic competition.
