Kansas City Baseball Quadrangular Opening Day

Boggstown – The bunting has been hung, the grass mowed, and the jumbo tron loaded with surprises as The Fogelberg Falcons visit The Boggstown Boilers to open the Kansas City Baseball Quadrangular. This four team league is chalked with talent… A different kind of talent, what many members of the press call “scrubs”.

“I love this team,” Falcons lifetime player Paul Molitor said after batting practice. “Look at these guys, they love to play the game and the are absolutely pasting the ball… I would not call a league with names like Piazza, Bagwell and Thomas a scrubs league.”

The only problem is that the league also posts names like Frank White, Fred Lynn and Kent Herbek. “Sure, these are guys that have not traditionally been drafted, but this is where they show what kind of MOJO they have.”

When Robin Roberts and Johnny Podres take the hill in game one of the series tonight they will be facing some of the most offensively challenged lineups in modern ASB history…. How will they respond?

About Joe

I have been playing Cadaco All Star Baseball since before I knew what numbers were! ... After creating hundreds of discs, several original designs for stadiums and helping to brainstorm goofy additions to the game, I would LOVE to hear what YOU are doing with the game. My hope is to build a long lasting web community with a growing set of cool online ASB features!
