Fogelberg – The Fogelberg Falcons look to get their season on track tonight against the Westport Fleas as the Kansas City Baseball Quadrangular moves to inter-league play. Posting a 1-3 record against the Boilers in their opening series, the Falcons look homeward to Macintosh Stadium to get their season on track.
“I think this team can do more than what we showed last time out. It starts with me hitting the ball a lot better and a couple of key outs here and there.” Lifetime player Paul Molitor said.
It is safe to say, if the Falcons do not win the series, their season could be as good as over. “Right now, we are the worst team in the league. Sure, this baby (league) feels like it is just getting under way, but after tonight, it will be over half way done… You want to be in control of your own destiny doing into that final week and if we do not win 3 tonight we are going to need some help,” said manager Don Zimmer.
