After several months of design and construction, renovations at McCall Memorial Stadium (commonly referred to as “The Fish Bowl”) are complete. The updated stadium has a new scoreboard, playing surface, larger bathrooms, more concessions stands, double the parking and a new children’s area called “The Minnow’s Tank”… It was important to the ownership group in McCall that the stadium look similar to the original stadium with an updated twist.
“I took a tour with (Don) Blasingame right after it was completed a few weeks back and it looks pretty darn first class,” Falcons manager Don Zimmer said from his home in Fogelberg. “I think it’s gonna to go a long way towards helping them win a major event over there … Of course you still have to play the games.”
