Congrats go out to the Boggstown Boilers on their WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
Ryan and I introduced All-Star-Baseball to our friend Matt (Captain) on Friday night… I think that he has potential!
I LOVE THAT GAME!
Ry and I started the final season of ASB for the state of Florida last night.
Owls 15, Mudhens 11
I really want to win the final championship of the “Atlantic Coast Baseball League”. Bragging rights would be awesome.

(08-17-09 NOTE) Falcons Win title vs. Owls
Congratulations to the Joplin Crawdads of the Atlantic Coast Baseball League for winning the World Series in season number three. The champs beat the Merrimack Owls in four straight games to obtain the title. Charlie Leibrandt took home MVP honors after tossing the Crawdads to two victories in the series.
Roger Bresnahan hitting for the cycle in game number 3, and a strong series from league MVP Billy Hamilton were not enough for the overwhelmed Owls.

For those of you who do not know, I am talking about All-Star Baseball… A board game that Ryan, Sam (when he is around) and I play from time to time. The Falcons and Owls are my teams… The Mudhens and Crawdads are Ryan’s… and the Wildcats and Mustangs are Sam’s. There is a link to the right of the page if you want to learn more about the nerdiest thing that I do.
Fogelberg Falcons repeat as All-Star Baseball champions –
In a stunning upset, the Fogelberg Falcons defeated the Joplin Crawdads to win their second straight Atlantic Coast baseball League Championship. Ralph Kiner and Ron Santo led the charge earning co-MVP honors in the five game series.
